terms and conditions: workshops, classes, and sessions
This is a legal agreement
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Do Feldenkrais, Feldenkrais Practice of Thomas Wiedmer, Feldenkrais Practitioner and founder of Sustainable Moves (short Do Feldenkrais) and contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies and obligations.
You acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms. You are an adult at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts on your own behalf (and on behalf of your dependents in applicable) in the jurisdiction where you reside. If you book for a person under eighteen (18) years of age, you agree to have the legal responsibility of the person (e.g. parent, guardian).
Workshops, classes, lessons take place in group or one-to-one settings. During individual lessons with persons under eighteen (18) years of age a parent, guardian, carer must be present throughout.
Medical Disclaimer
The Feldenkrais Method is an educational method, not a medical system or therapy. We do not attempt to diagnose, treat or cure any disease or injury. Do Feldenkrais is not a licensed medical care provider and represents that it has no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition.
It is your responsibility to move and direct yourself in a safe way that does not create discomfort, and stay in an easy and comfortable range of movement, in order to remain in a learning environment.
Insurance
Do Feldenkrais accept no responsibility for any injury or accident during the course of the workshop/class/lesson. Classes/workshops/lessons are for those in good physical conditions and without injury or illness. If you have specific health issues or injury this workshop/class/lesson may not be suitable for you. You understand that physical exercise can be strenuous and can expose you to the risk of serious injury.
It is each individual’s responsibility to monitor their own ability to undertake the activities offered at the workshop/class/lesson. You agree to undertake this class/workshop/lesson at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Do Feldenkrais from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Do Feldenkrais classes/workshops/lessons.
Do Feldenkrais is not responsible or liable for any advice, course of treatment, diagnosis or any other information, services or products that you obtain through our website or web related content.
Privacy
You acknowledge to agree with Do Feldenkrais Privacy Policy.
We may record classes and workshops in audio or video footage. You give consent that such footage can be used by Do Feldenkrais. This may include comments, feedback, reviews, testimonials, recommendations etc.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Do Feldenkrais’ hold intellectual property rights of recordings.
Access to recordings is for personal use only; access may be withdrawn at the discretion of Do Feldenkrais.
Payment Terms
Registration and booking can be made via a website, booking portal or booking form (online) or directly via bank transfer to the bank account named on the booking form.
Payment in full is required to confirm your place.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-returnable.
Cancellations, for whatever reason, must be notified in writing to hello@sustainablemoves.co.uk
Please notify us, if you find someone who would like to come instead of you.
For cancellations made up to 7 days before the workshop/class/lesson, 100% of the payment (excluding booking fee if applicable) will be refunded.
Thereafter refunds up to a maximum of 25% of the payment and excluding booking fee will only be considered under exceptional and serious circumstances at the discretion of Do Feldenkrais.
If a block of classes/lessons (e.g. usually 6 classes or 5 lessons) is booked as a bundle at a reduced rate, refunds up to a maximum of 25% of the payment and excluding booking fee will only be considered under exceptional and serious circumstances at the discretion of Do Feldenkrais.
If a block of classes/lessons (e.g. usually 6 classes or 5 lessons) is booked, one missed class can be carried over to the next term or a recording of the lesson is made available.
Do Feldenkrais may cancel a workshop / class / lesson at their own discretion and communicate to registered participants/attendees as soon as possible. 100% of the payment will be refunded.

Changes
We may update these Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
The line-up of workshop / class / lesson presenters may change at short notice and we endeavour to communicate this to participants as soon as possible. Cancellations on this basis are not accepted.
