Our Functional Integration™ one-to-one sessions meet you exactly where you are in your movement journey. These tailored sessions bring the Feldenkrais Method into your daily life, and lets you let go while the Practitioner takes over the work.

Each session is customised to your unique needs. These easy movement explorations are designed to bring awareness to parts of yourself that you are not used to moving. As you sense movement patterns and explore new possibilities, you find your movement options expanded.

Your questions, answered

  • In your first session, we'll discuss your goals, challenges, and any specific areas you’d like to address. This helps us create a customised approach. As you lie or sit fully clothed on a low- padded table, the practitioner gently guides you with their hands through a range of safe, easy movement explorations. We explore your unique needs and bring awareness to parts that you are not used to moving. We don't fix — we foster self-education.

  • The practitioner for all our one-to-one sessions is Thomas Wiedmer. He has over 25 years experience in the Feldenkrais Method and is an active member of the Feldenkrais Guild UK and FP for FP, an international peer-to-peer group of Feldenkrais practitioners.

  • No experience is needed. These sessions are designed to be accessible for all levels, from beginners to those familiar with the Feldenkrais Method. We’ll guide you through everything, step by step.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. If you’re attending in person, bring any necessary items for comfort, like a water bottle. If you’re joining online, find a quiet space with room to move and a mat or blanket to lie on.

    Most importantly you will need curiosity towards self-education!

  • Each session lasts about 60 minutes, giving us enough time to explore movements, discuss progress, and answer any questions you may have.

  • Yes, the Feldenkrais Method is often used to relieve chronic pain, improve movement after injury, and support overall physical well-being. We’ll adapt each session to your comfort level and focus on movements that support healing.

  • Sessions are available both online and in person. Online sessions will take place over Zoom, and in-person sessions take place in Bristol, BS3 1BS.
